Job Description:
CITY OF CASTLE ROCK GENERAL PUBLIC WORKS MAINTENANCE WORKER COLLECTIVE BARGAINING POSITION - $3689/Month Applications are being accepted for the above position thru Tuesday, August 28th 2018.
This is a semi-technical, very physically demanding position involving daily maintenance and operations of the public works facilities, including, but not limited to streets, water, wastewater, storm systems and treatment facilities.
Responsibilities include maintenance and operation of equipment, system tanks, pumps, monitoring gauges and vehicles used by the Public Works Department.
Position is full-time, requiring additional on-call response.
Some examples of the physical demands are climbing, heavy lifting, digging and sweeping.
Strong mechanical skills are preferred.
Applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalency and a good driving record.
The successful applicant will be required to pass a respiratory physical, a pre-employment Drug/Alcohol screening and a complete background investigation.
Applicant must possess, or be able to obtain within nine months of employment, a Class B' with air brakes Washington State Commercial Drivers License.
The successful applicant will be required to obtain within 24 months of employment the following Washington State Certifications: Water Distribution Manager 1 Water Treatment Plant Operator 1 Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator 1 Other certifications that are recommended but not required are: Washington Traffic Control Flagger Card First AidPR Card Applications are available at and must be submitted to the Washington State Employment Security Department at 305 S.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
